POSITION SUMMARY: The Mammography Scheduler schedules mammography and DEXA appointments at multiple Charlotte Radiology facilities. SHIFT: Mon-Fri 8a-5p

Requirements

Highschool Education
Less than 1 year
Medical office, Customer service experience preferred
Knowledge of Medical Terminology
Knowledge of Windows and Outlook
Medical office experience
Strong verbal and written communication
Ability to work independently
Must be able to multitask and shift priorities
Excellent communication and Customer Service Skills
Must have excellent organizational and Interpersonal skills
Ability to withstand long periods of sitting and repetitive handwork

Nice To Haves

Medical office, Customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

Schedule mammography and dexa appointments.
Provides information to the patient, in regard to anniversary dates and proper recommendation for return.
Coordinate scheduling at multiple facilities
Works closely with the authorization department ensuring efficiency
Maintain effective communication with Special Accounts
Maintain effective record and data base information
