About The Position

Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital, a 305-bed teaching facility with Level II trauma status, is seeking a Mammography Apprentice Tech. This role involves performing diagnostic Mammography exams under general supervision, applying ALARA principles of radiation protection, and ensuring high-quality images for interpretation. The apprenticeship program includes specific hours during the apprenticeship period, which convert to standard hours upon completion.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduated from an accredited Radiography program.
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). Must remain in good standing with ARRT upon hire.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA (American Heart Association) or Red Cross.

• Associate's degree.
