About The Position
A Mammographer operates mammography equipment and cares for patient needs. Reviews patient orders and charts, and determines correctness and timeliness in accordance with medical necessity, preps, and other concerns. Compiles images, scans documents, sends images to PACS, and performs other similar tasks necessary and promptly to assure that radiologist interpretation is accomplished in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Graduate from an approved school of Radiological Science.
- Registered or registry eligible by the ARRT in Mammography.
- Current AHA BLS certification required.
- Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
