About The Position

MUSC/Florence Radiology is seeking a Full-Time Mammographer to join their team. The Mammography Technologist, under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director, performs all Mammography procedures in accordance with ACR, TDH, MQSA, state regulations, and departmental policies. This role requires highly technical skills to operate sophisticated equipment for the mentioned examinations. The position is responsible for QA maintenance, regulatory compliance, survey preparations, and competencies. The Technologist must exhibit expertise in patient care based on needs appropriate for all patient demographics. Other duties as deemed necessary.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved, accredited A.R.R.T. program.
Documented mammography training.
At least one year mammography experience is required.
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
Mammography certification required (ARRT-M).
Licensed as a radiologic technologist by the SCRQSA.
CPR certification required.

Nice To Haves

One year of diagnostic radiology experience is preferred.
