This Mammographer position offers a unique opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner, serving local and diverse communities. The role involves building lasting relationships with healthcare facilities and becoming a key member of the SMS ONETEAM. SMS offers paid initial training for those new to Mammography.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved 2-year Radiologic Technology program.
Must be registered with ARRT, American Registry of Clinical Radiologic Technologists or Licensed to perform general radiographic procedures.
Ability to produce quality imaging with limited supervision.
Must be able to interact in a responsible, professional, and ethical manner.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Must possess valid Class D Driver's License. CDL NOT REQUIRED.
Must have acceptable driving record.
Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check, urine drug screen and physical.
Must have critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

40 hours of training in mammography.
Willing to train.
Ability to drive or experience driving equivalent to a 26-foot straight truck.
Willing to train.

Responsibilities

Screening mammography at clinics, corporate and community outreach locations within the Twin Cities metro area.
Work as a team of two mammographers or one mammographer and an assistant on a 26-foot straight truck equivalent mobile mammography unit equipped with Hologic 3D mammography system.
Mammographers and/or assistants drive the mobile unit to the screening locations.
