About The Position

The Mammographer will perform mammographic and diagnostic radiographic procedures, conduct daily checks of the work area, and provide education for departmental staff. The role requires maintaining professionalism and qualities consistent with a radiographer, and demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities for age-specific patient populations. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic mammographic procedures and completing bone density exams.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current Radiologic Technologist license in Vermont in good standing.
• Current Mammography certification from the American Registration of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(RT)(MA))
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
• Experience to demonstrate the knowledge base and experience to successfully complete breast procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and functions independently.
• Demonstrates problem-solving and problem-prevention skills.
• Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
