Requirements

• High School Graduate and 1-3 years 1 year experience under radiologists supervision, upon hire or High School GED and 1-3 years 1 year experience under radiologists supervision, upon hire.
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.
• Prepare patients for scans, operate advanced MRI equipment, ensure patient safety in the magnetic environment, and accurately capture detailed anatomical images.
• Demonstrate expert technical proficiency in MRI, meticulous attention to detail for image quality and safety, and excellent patient communication to ensure a comfortable and effective diagnostic experience.
• Understand the concept of all mammography related equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining ACR/FDA/MQSA continuing medical education and minimum 200 mammograms/2 years.
• Communicate with Technologist Coordinator when a unit is down or repairs are needed.
• Manage documentation, data entry and charges for all breast procedures in EPIC.
• Assist with Breast Cancer Conference materials for the radiologist.
• Participate in orientation and training of new employees, students and others as appropriate.
