About The Position

As our Mammography Technologist, you will be instrumental in performing diverse digital mammography procedures for women's imaging, ensuring exceptional patient care and upholding organizational values. Your expertise in specialized imaging techniques will be crucial for delivering high-quality diagnostic services. Every day you will execute a range of mammography and DEXA exams, prioritize patient well-being through direct care, and collaborate with healthcare teams for accurate documentation and effective communication. Your daily tasks will also involve continuous learning and adherence to professional standards. To be successful, you will need a strong background in radiologic technology with significant digital mammography experience, alongside essential certifications. You must demonstrate excellent patient care, communication skills, and a commitment to regulatory compliance and our mission. Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained. Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care. Identifies self by name and title to patient/family. Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive. Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified. Understands role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate/ GED
  • Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology Program
  • Documentation of Digital Mammography training (8 hrs)
  • Mammography Experience (200 exams in previous 24 months)
  • Mammography Continuing Education (15 hrs in previous 36 months)
  • CA Radiology Tech License
  • Basic Life Support
