About The Position

This role is for a Mammo Tech in the Outpatient Imaging department at Optimal Imaging Ascension St. Vincent's in Saint Johns, FL. The position is full-time with a day shift schedule. The Mammo Tech will execute advanced mammography procedures with precise positioning and technical parameter selection, educate patients on procedures and the vital importance of preventative breast health, evaluate image quality for optimal contrast and definition before submission to PACS, adhere to strict radiation safety protocols and routine equipment maintenance standards, and manage departmental work flows, including equipment troubleshooting and procedure room upkeep.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Florida license requirements not applicable to associates working in Georgia.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered Radiologic Technologist licensure required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
