Responsible to direct the functions of malnutrition quality improvement for Morrision Healthcare under the direction of the Corporate Director, Malnutrition Program. These functions include, but are not limited to analyzing metrics, management, education, training, reporting and performance improvement. In coordination with the Corporate Director Malnutrition Program, System Malnutrition Improvement RDNs/Directors, Nutrition Systems and Clinical Nutrition Managers, assures compliance with all regulatory agencies regulations.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of experience in healthcare as a Registered Dietitian, including two (2) years in a managerial position, preferred.
  • Previous experience in implementing a malnutrition initiative and utlizing MyMalnutrition Tools preferred.
  • Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration).
  • State Licensure, as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the implementation of the clinical nutrition malnutrition programs which includes the development and implementation of tools/resources and training in collaboration with the Corporate Director, Malnutrition Program.
  • Supports the Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement (QAPI) Malnutrition Program.
  • Participates in and/or supports the malnutrition-related sales process, as appropriate, including collaborations with partnered external organizations.
  • Gathers and analyzes quality nutrition metrics from the malnutrition program and prepares reports/presentations.
  • Participates in software development, including writing formulas, rules, and logic for the development team, testing builds, and troubleshooting errors.
  • Provides support/training on the online malnutrition program to users.
  • Leads, directs, coaches, trains and develops clinical nutrition managers and other team members in the implementation of the malnutrition program.
  • Monitors regulatory changes related to malnutrition which includes tracking and reporting CMS auditing or insurance denial information.
