About The Position

The Server at Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i provides a warm and welcoming dining experience through attentive table service, menu guidance, and personalized guest care. The role involves assisting guests with menu selections and beverage options, accurately managing orders, coordinating with the kitchen, and ensuring food and beverages meet presentation and dietary requirements. Servers also maintain the dining environment and service areas, process guest transactions, and support restaurant opening and closing operations.

Malibu Farm is located above Hulopoʻe Bay and serves lunch featuring fresh local and organic ingredients. In the evening, guests can enjoy island cocktails poolside.

Requirements

• Must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
• Must obtain a Tuberculosis (TB) clearance card as required by the Hawaii State Department of Health.
• Hawaii Food Handler’s Card is required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push or pull as needed during shifts.
• Availability to work scheduled days and times that may vary based on business needs; weekend and holiday availability is required.

Nice To Haves

• Maui Liquor Card preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests through menu selections, restaurant offerings, specials, and beverage options with confidence and product knowledge.
• Accurately enter orders and special requests into the POS system and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely service.
• Verify food and beverage orders for accuracy, presentation, and dietary requirements before delivery.
• Anticipate guest needs, provide recommendations, and promptly address inquiries, concerns, and special requests.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables throughout service, maintaining a polished and inviting dining environment.
• Assist with food running, table maintenance, water service, and course setup.
• Maintain clean and organized service stations, dining areas, and back-of-house support areas.
• Process guest checks, cash and credit card transactions, and authorized adjustments accurately and efficiently.
• Support opening and closing duties, including restaurant setup, breakdown, sanitation, and operational readiness.
