Male Caregiver
About The Position
ComForCare Home Health Care – Pima County is seeking a compassionate, dependable Male Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care and support to clients in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves helping clients with personal care, companionship, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, monitoring and reporting changes, and transportation. The position pays $17.00 per hour. The employer describes ongoing training, caregiver support, and matching caregivers with compatible clients. This job is with an independently owned and operated ComForCare franchisee, which is responsible for employment decisions.
Requirements
- Must be male to meet specific client care preferences and needs.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and assisting with mobility.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving, home health aide, or personal care assistant experience preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist male clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
- Provide companionship and emotional support in clients’ homes.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercises as directed by a care plan.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, tidying, and errands.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors.
- Transport clients to appointments, errands, or social activities.
