About The Position

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), a leader in Christian media, is looking for a professional Make-up Artist in Virginia Beach, VA to join our team. This is an opportunity for an experienced Artist to use their skills to design and apply makeup for on-air talent. Serving in this position facilitates ministry activities and contributes to CBN’s Biblical mission to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide. This position is an on-call position with early morning, flexible hours.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a make-up artist
Strong working knowledge of makeup design and application
Ability to effectively work with on-camera talent
Strong ability to work well under the pressures of live TV with daily and hourly deadlines.
Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish professional rapport with all levels of management, staff, and outside public
Ability to think creatively
Ability to work well under pressure and consistently deadlines
Ability to work flexible hours, including very early mornings
Good manual dexterity with ability to stand for extended periods of time
Demonstrate life application of Biblical principles and practices in alignment with CBN’s nonprofit Christian mission
