About The Position

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a professional Make-up Artist in Virginia Beach, VA. This role involves designing and applying makeup for on-air talent, contributing to CBN's mission of advancing the Gospel. This is an on-call position with flexible hours, including early mornings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and the ability to work effectively under the pressures of live television with tight deadlines.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a make-up artist
Strong working knowledge of makeup design and application
Ability to effectively work with on-camera talent
Strong ability to work well under the pressures of live TV with daily and hourly deadlines.
Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish professional rapport with all levels of management, staff, and outside public
Ability to think creatively
Ability to work well under pressure and consistently deadlines
Ability to work flexible hours, including very early mornings
Good manual dexterity with ability to stand for extended periods of time
Demonstrate life application of Biblical principles and practices in alignment with CBN’s nonprofit Christian mission
