About The Position

This role is responsible for supporting the Maintenance Supervisor with daily work orders, unit turns, preventative maintenance, and other assigned duties. The position requires a strong understanding of various maintenance areas within an apartment community and the ability to perform repairs independently. Candidates must be available for on-call rotations and adhere to safety procedures and the company's dress code.

Requirements

• Maintenance knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, appliance repair, electrical systems, and other typical apartment repairs.
• At least three (3) years previous maintenance experience required, specifically in an apartment community.
• Excellent organization and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and prioritize workloads.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Good diagnostic skills and ability to perform repair work on appliances, electrical systems, plumbing systems, carpentry, and painting/sheetrock.
• Must have your own tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance Supervisor with daily work orders, unit turns, preventative maintenance, and any other duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Management staff.
• Adhere to the dress code as established by management.
• Use proper protective equipment when necessary and follow safety procedures.
• Be available for emergency on call rotation as required.
