About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Make Ready professional to join our team at Avondale Park. The Make Ready team is responsible for preparing apartments and common areas for new residents by ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and overall readiness. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Previous experience in apartment make ready, janitorial, or maintenance roles preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and maintenance repairs.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing all areas.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, patching holes, and painting as needed.
• Inspect apartments and common areas to ensure they meet quality and safety standards before move-in.
• Coordinate with maintenance and management teams to report and resolve any issues or damages.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used safely and stored properly.
• Assist with other property maintenance tasks as assigned.
