About The Position

We are currently seeking a diligent and detail oriented Make Ready Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing vacant units in our condominium or housing establishment for new residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance tasks and repairs, with a focus on ensuring units are clean, safe, and move-in ready. This position is in Port A.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in general maintenance or make ready work preferred.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance tasks, repairs, and construction techniques.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
• Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional demeanor and customer service-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacant units to identify any necessary repairs, maintenance, or cleaning tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs, including painting, patching walls, replacing light fixtures, and repairing appliances and fixtures.
• Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, and other living spaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
• Replace or repair flooring, tiles, carpets, and other surfaces as needed.
• Check and test appliances, HVAC systems, and plumbing fixtures to ensure they are in working order.
• Ensure units are properly locked and secured after completing make ready tasks.
• Coordinate with property managers or leasing agents to prioritize make ready tasks and meet move-in deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each unit.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, maintenance, and property management.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and prospective tenants, addressing any concerns or inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
