About The Position

The Make Ready Technician prepares vacant apartments for market-ready condition by performing various maintenance and turnover duties including, but not limited to: Standard apartment turns and unit preparation, Basic appliance repair and troubleshooting, Drywall repair and touch-up painting, Basic electrical repairs and fixture replacement, Caulking and apartment touch-ups, Trash-out and debris removal, Testing locks and key sets, Assisting with property inspections and apartment walks, Maintaining grounds and common areas including trash pickup, sweeping sidewalks and breezeways, etc., Assisting Maintenance Technicians, Porters, and Housekeeping as needed. This is a newer property, so the role will focus primarily on routine turns and general maintenance needs rather than extensive renovation work.

Requirements

  • Active and valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
  • Live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
  • One year of related maintenance experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Candidates with strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • We’re looking for a dependable, team-oriented individual who takes pride in maintaining quality apartment homes and delivering excellent service to residents.

Nice To Haves

  • Traditional maintenance skills and hands-on experience preferred.
  • Experience with apartment turns, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and basic electrical work preferred.
  • HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities
