About The Position
Morgan Properties is hiring a Make Ready Technician for the Waterfront Apartments community in Munhall, PA. Waterfront Apartments is a 235-home community located along the Monongahela River, offering convenient access to surrounding areas like Homestead, West Mifflin, and downtown Pittsburgh. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming empty apartments into move-in ready homes, directly contributing to the satisfaction of new residents. Requirements
- Experience in apartment maintenance, make-ready, construction, handyman, or a related trade
- Working knowledge of painting, drywall, plumbing, and basic electrical
- Strong attention to detail and a follow-through mindset
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work independently
Nice To Haves
- Appliance repair experience is a strong plus — we're willing to train the right person
Responsibilities
- Complete apartment turns and make-ready work ahead of resident move-ins
- Handle painting, drywall repair, carpentry, and general punch work
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs
- Ensure every home meets quality and safety standards before move-in
- Support the maintenance team with service requests and community appearance
- Keep the turn schedule moving and communicate clearly with the site team
