About The Position

Join Terra Apartments as a Make-Ready Technician and be part of a fast-paced team that takes pride in turning vacant apartments into clean, move-in ready homes quickly and efficiently. This is a hands-on role with steady hours, daily variety, and the opportunity to make a visible impact in a thriving apartment community.

Requirements

• Entry-level position; applicant must meet all physical requirements.
• Minimum of 40 hours per week, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
• May be necessary to work weekends.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacated apartments for “market-ready” move-ins within required timelines
• Complete unit inspections and make-ready checklists
• Perform light repairs including fixtures, appliances, doors, blinds, and hardware
• Change locks, cut keys, replace filters, and assist with appliance moves
• Support painting, patching walls, and general unit touch-ups
• Operate carpet cleaning equipment as needed
• Assist with grounds upkeep and community cleanliness
• Communicate repair needs and supply needs to leadership
• Follow all OSHA, Fair Housing, ADA, and company safety standards
• Use required safety equipment at all times
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately
• Follow proper procedures and ask questions when needed
