About The Position

The Make Ready Technician is responsible for preparing apartment units for new residents. This includes performing various repairs and cleaning tasks to ensure units are in excellent condition. The role requires attention to detail, knowledge of general maintenance, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Requirements

General Maintenance – 2 years
Knowledge of appliance repair
Light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical knowledge
Knowledge of general safety procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills providing for effective communication with residents, prospects, employees, peers, vendors, owners, etc.
Computer software experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and OneSite
Basic understanding of Federal, State and local Fair Housing laws
Must pass a drug screen and an extensive background check

Responsibilities

"Trash out" units for make ready apartments
Inspecting units for necessary repairs or replacements
Perform minor repairs on appliances
Perform minor repairs on floors and to walls
Perform minor repairs to cabinets, doors, and fixtures in unit
Replace missing hardware
Record work performed accurately and in detail
Certifies the work performed by contractors is property completed prior to payment being issued
Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe working environment
General cleaning of make ready units
Embraces and executes the vision, mission, and beliefs of the Company
Is punctual and present at work when scheduled
Flexible with the work schedule, including availability to work weekends, evenings, and/or holidays
