About The Position

The Make Ready Technician prepares vacant apartments for market-ready condition by performing various maintenance and turnover duties including, but not limited to: Drywall repair and touch-up painting Plumbing repairs and troubleshooting Basic electrical repairs and fixture replacement Caulking and apartment touch-ups Trash-out and debris removal Moving appliances, furniture, and other heavy items as needed Testing locks and key sets Assisting with property inspections and apartment walks Maintaining grounds and common areas including trash pickup, sweeping sidewalks and breezeways, etc. Assisting Maintenance Technicians, Porters, and Housekeeping as needed General carpentry repairs preferred HVAC knowledge is a plus, but not required Occasional travel to nearby sister property may be required based on business needs.
Requirements
- Active and valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
- Live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
- One year of related maintenance experience, or equivalent education and experience.
- Dependable, hardworking team player who takes pride in maintaining quality apartment homes and delivering excellent service to residents.
Nice To Haves
- General carpentry repairs preferred
- HVAC knowledge is a plus, but not required
- Experience with apartment turns, drywall, plumbing, and general maintenance preferred.
- HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready condition by performing various maintenance and turnover duties
