Requirements

• Proven experience in property maintenance, construction, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of building systems including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Technical skills daily to assess and complete repairs, ensuring all units meet established standards.
• Communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and vendors to schedule and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Organizational skills help manage multiple units simultaneously, track progress, and maintain detailed records.
• Problem-solving abilities are frequently applied to address unexpected maintenance issues or tenant concerns promptly.
• Proficiency with relevant software tools enhances efficiency in managing work orders and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacant units to identify necessary repairs, cleaning, and maintenance tasks.
• Perform or coordinate repairs including painting, flooring, appliance servicing, and minor carpentry.
• Ensure all safety and quality standards are met before tenant move-in.
• Schedule and oversee cleaning services to prepare units for occupancy.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each unit.
• Communicate effectively with property management and maintenance teams to prioritize and track work orders.
• Manage inventory of supplies and request additional materials as needed.
• Respond promptly to any issues or emergencies related to unit readiness.
