About The Position
ParkVista Apartments is now hiring a Make Ready / Porter Tech in San Antonio, TX. This role involves preparing vacant apartments for market-ready status through repairs and improvements, maintaining the grounds including common areas, and ensuring the property is clean and free of trash and debris. The position also requires providing outstanding customer service to residents and assisting the maintenance team with light tasks as needed.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in maintenance or custodial work is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to occasionally lift 50lbs
Responsibilities
- Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
- Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
- Provide residents with outstanding customer service
- Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris
- Pick up trash around buildings, parking areas, and common spaces
- Clean breezeways, stairwells, and other shared areas
- Maintain dumpster and trash areas
- Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
- Help keep the community neat and welcoming for residents
