About The Position
This role is responsible for responding to resident maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The position also involves managing inventory, assisting with preventative maintenance schedules, and preparing apartments for new residents.
Requirements
- Proven experience as in maintenance, preferably in a multi-family housing setting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application.
- We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of a U.S. Employment visa (e.g. H-1B) for this position.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring timely reordering.
- Assist in a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize future issues.
- Assist with unit turns, ensuring apartments are move-in ready on schedule.
