About The Position

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Make Ready Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist with various tasks related to restoration projects, including cleanup, and general labor duties and assisting the Maintenance Department in getting apartments ready for occupation. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to perform physical tasks, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Requirements

• Familiarity with hand tools and basic maintenance tasks.
• Ability to lift, bend, climb ladders, and stand for long periods.
• Ensuring units meet high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Working efficiently to meet strict turnover deadlines.
• Have own tools

Responsibilities

• Painting apartments (walls, trim, doors) and performing deep cleaning or touch-ups to ensure a move-in ready appearance.
• Replacing light fixtures, outlets, switches, and repairing drywall.
• Checking and repairing minor plumbing issues, such as faucets and toilets, and ensuring appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers) are working.
• Assisting in removing trash and debris from vacant units and preparing them for new occupants.
• Assisting senior maintenance technicians with tasks, keeping maintenance shops stocked with supplies, and transporting materials.
