About The Position

Tarantino Properties is now hiring a Make Ready in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for preparing vacant apartments for market-ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements, maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the grounds and common areas, and providing outstanding customer service to residents. The Make Ready team member plays a crucial role in keeping the community neat, welcoming, and safe for all residents.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in maintenance or custodial work is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to occasionally lift 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
• Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service
• Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris
• Pick up trash around buildings, parking areas, and common spaces
• Clean breezeways, stairwells, and other shared areas
• Maintain dumpster and trash areas
• Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
• Help keep the community neat and welcoming for residents
