About The Position

At Johnstone Supply, our relationships power our growth. As a Major Accounts Manager, you’ll own and expand some of our most strategic, high-value customer partnerships—working directly with executive decision-makers, including private equity–backed organizations. This role blends strategic selling, relationship leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to drive long-term success.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HVAC distribution sales experience
  • Proven success managing high-value or strategic accounts
  • Strong executive presence and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations and collaborate across teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with private equity–backed clients
  • Knowledge of branch operations, logistics, and Eclipse

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and grow key major account relationships
  • Act as the primary point of contact for executive-level customers
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with long-term business goals
  • Drive revenue growth through account expansion, cross-selling, and upselling
  • Support contracts, renewals, and negotiations
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Marketing, Purchasing, and Leadership to deliver best-in-class service
  • Monitor account performance and proactively address risks or challenges
