About The Position

Wallwork Truck Center is currently hiring for a Maintenance position to join our team. If you are interested in working for a successful company and a great working environment, this is the place for you! The responsibilities include performing a wide variety of custodial and maintenance duties in order to provide a clean, orderly, and safe environment; adhering to company-wide safety standards, working well within a team, and maintaining regular attendance. The starting wage is $20.00 per hour, with opportunity to be more DOE.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work within a team.
  • Must maintain regular attendance.
  • Must be able to operate power equipment such as forklifts, carpet extractors, pressure washer, snow blower, power hand tools, and power tools.
  • Must be able to perform minor maintenance repairs.
  • Must be able to maintain grounds, walkways and parking areas.
  • Must be able to perform preventative maintenance.
  • Must complete vehicle safety checks per Company policy.
  • Must operate vehicles within safety guidelines.
  • Must immediately report any safety concerns or Company Policy violations to management.
  • Must adhere to work schedule.
  • Must uphold ethical standards.
  • Must demonstrate behavioral and service expectations as defined in policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Performs work according to standard procedure and by buildings operational standard.
  • Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways and windows.
  • Uses brooms, mops, and floor equipment to sweep, mop, strip and wax floors.
  • Participate in general cleaning painting, and repair work as needed.
  • Performs general routine plumbing repairs such as unstopping toilets and sinks, fixing small water leaks, and leaking faucets as needed.
  • Performs general routine electric repairs such as changing light bulbs or fluorescent bulbs, and assists in repairing ballast and light fixtures as needed.
  • Uses power equipment such as forklifts, carpet extractors, pressure washer, snow blower, power hand tools, and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs and maintaining grounds, walkways and parking areas.
  • Perform preventative maintenance in and around facility.
  • Completes vehicle safety checks per Company policy and operates the vehicle within safety guidelines; immediately reports any safety concerns or Company Policy violations to management.
  • Performs Wallwork Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.
  • Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
  • Upholds Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrate the behavioral and service expectations as defined in our policies and procedures.
