About The Position

Maintenance personnel are assigned to a department within the Dakota City complex. They are responsible for maintaining and repairing all company assets while ensuring a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

Mechanically inclined.
Must complete an 8-level maintenance training course within an allotted time frame.
Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, and using stairs and ladders.
Must have the necessary communication skills/ ability to understand instructions received via radio.
Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal machine instructions/work orders.
Ability to correctly complete all job-related paperwork.
All job offers are contingent upon providing proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and passing a urinalysis as part of the post-offer health assessment.
MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR MECHANIC WORK EXPERIENCE DOCUMENTED IN THE WORK HISTORY SECTION OF APLICATION OR BE A GRADUATE OF AN INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TRAINING PROGRAM. (CAN BE COMBINATION OF EXPLOYERS AS LONG AS EXPERIENCE IS AT LEAST 1 YEAR)
