Requirements

  • Five years technical experience and two years education/training in a manufacturing or equipment repair environment, desired.
  • Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical ability and ability and background with fabrication equipment
  • Tool path programming experience such as plasma cutter, robot or CNC
  • Knowledge of machinery, including strong hydraulic and electrical experience
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures
  • Must have own tools, ability to read calipers, micrometers and use multimeter
  • Ability to perform Planned Maintenance on all equipment in Facility
  • Must work well with others

Nice To Haves

  • Welding knowledge desirable

Responsibilities

  • Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshoots and repair machinery.
  • Troubleshoots and edits programs and settings on automated equipment.
  • Make or modify fixtures and tooling when needed.
  • Assists in planning, evaluation & installation of new equipment.
  • Takes corrective action on any safety violation and notify the area supervisor.
  • Performs preventative/planned maintenance.
  • Plans and directs building repairs, improvements and layout changes if required.
