About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing the continued development and maintenance of office and site facilities, including exteriors, interiors, building equipment, and grounds. The position involves managing inventory, coordinating with vendors for supplies and services, scheduling maintenance and cleaning, and ensuring facilities are clean, safe, and conducive to patient care. Additionally, the role manages maintenance contracts, oversees cyclical maintenance projects, assists with building projects (repair, construction, renovation), oversees building security and safety, and aids in disaster planning. The position also monitors the Ticket Tracking System.

Requirements

Knowledge of clinic policies and procedures.
Knowledge of certain building standards, codes, and requirements of regulatory agencies.
Knowledge of standard operating procedures for clinic operation, facilities management, and engineering.
Knowledge of safety practices and hazardous conditions to provide a safe work environment.
Skill in exercising independent judgment.
Skill managing contracts with subcontractors.
Skill in establishing and maintaining working relationships with staff.
Ability to work effectively with vendors and staff.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

Oversees continued development of office and sites (exteriors and interiors), building equipment, and grounds.
Monitors current inventory level of supplies and contacts appropriate vendors to secure bids and place orders.
Confirms delivery, quality, and quantity of orders.
Coordinates and schedules maintenance and cleaning activities to ensure facilities are clean, safe, sanitary, and conducive to the delivery of quality patient care.
Manages, coordinates, and monitors certain maintenance contracts with outside vendors.
Oversees performance and maintains records of cyclical maintenance projects.
Assists and coordinates on assigned building projects, including directing repair, construction, and renovation.
Oversees building security and safety.
Assists with development and implementation of disaster plan.
Monitors Ticket Tracking System.
