About The Position

Service Credit Union is seeking a Maintenance Worker who will be responsible for all aspects of building and grounds maintenance for all stateside facilities, including branch offices. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
  • Mechanical ability to accomplish general maintenance in the areas of but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting.
  • General knowledge of practices, methods, tools, and equipment used in general maintenance work; general knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions associated with work.
  • Minimum 2 years of previous work-related experience required.
  • Ability to stand for up to 2 hours.
  • Able to lift 70 pounds.
  • Ability to travel to other work locations as required, if needed

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain company vehicles to include inspections/registration/cleaning and servicing appointments.
  • Facility maintenance to include, but not limited to, changing light bulbs and electrical ballasts, roof patching, ceiling tile replacement, painting, carpentry, plumbing apparatus.
  • Housekeeping / yard keeping including, but not limited to, keeping lawns free of trash and debris, sweeping sidewalks and gazebo, keeping picnic tables clean, regularly clean roof drains, shovel & salting sidewalks.
  • Understand the operation of equipment such as HVAC, generator, sump pump, irrigation systems, booster pumps etc.
