About The Position

The Maintenance Worker will handle the daily operations of general maintenance duties. This role requires working knowledge of commercial building repair and maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, and carpentry. The position also involves minor automotive repair, proficiency in welding and fabrication, and the ability to operate motorized lifts, scaffolding, and ladders at heights up to 20 feet. Additionally, the role includes performing snow removal duties and operating related equipment. The employee will be required to follow any other instructions and perform any other duties requested by their supervisor.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Two years of casino/general maintenance experience.
Ability to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license.
Valid driver's license.
Knowledge of cleaning fluids.
Above average oral communication skills.
Excellent customer service.
Problem-solving capability.
High capacity for learning.
Ability to work at heights 20 feet or above.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to operate a computer, radio, and phone.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in welding and fabrication is desired.

Responsibilities

Conduct minor automotive repair, including tire repair, fueling, and servicing of small engine equipment.
Perform welding and fabrication.
Operate motorized lifts, scaffolding, and ladders, potentially working at heights of 20 feet or above.
Perform snow removal duties, including operation of snow plows, tractors, backhoe, and street sweeper.
Follow strict safety procedures at all times to avoid injury.
