The Maintenance Worker is responsible for the regular preventative maintenance of large industrial textile processing equipment, as well as facility maintenance. This role assists the Maintenance Technician and/or Chief Engineer as required. The position reports to the Chief Engineer. The Maintenance Worker relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions, using limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A degree of creativity and latitude is required. This role assists in problem resolution to minimize equipment downtime and looks for opportunities to continually improve maintenance processes. The Maintenance Worker collaborates with all plant personnel in a cooperative and professional manner, strictly adhering to all safety rules, policies, and procedures required by Alsco, law, and industry common practice. They ensure work is performed safely and efficiently, following written and verbal instructions and complying with all Federal, State, and local laws.
