Maintenance Worker - Per Diem
About The Position
As a member of the Morongo Basin Healthcare District (MBHD) team, your mission is to improve the health and wellness of the communities we serve. You will be required to interact with patients, the public, co-workers, and management in fulfilling your mission. In your role as a Maintenance Worker, you will report to the Chief Operations Officer. Your responsibilities will include performing a variety of duties in the repair, servicing, and general maintenance of the clinics and equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current California Driver's License with good driving record
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with hand and power tools, and general maintenance
Responsibilities
- Perform plumbing, electrical, building repair, and general maintenance
- Make minor repairs on toilets, water fixtures, plumbing, and clogged drains
- Perform building maintenance requiring basic carpentry, painting, plastering, and other related duties
- Works with outside contractors for repairs and maintenance that do not fall under "routine"
- Perform safety rounds monthly, maintain fire extinguishers, change filters, and assist with fire evacuation drills
- Perform product assembly
- Document all repairs, maintenance, safety/security rounds, incidents, or other items of note
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
