About The Position
Join Arrowhead West, Inc. Central Kansas Division (Pratt and Medicine Lodge) and use your hands-on skills to help create safe, comfortable environments that support people with disabilities in living meaningful lives. As a Maintenance Worker, you help ensure that Arrowhead West's facilities, vehicles, and grounds remain safe, functional, and welcoming for the individuals and employees we serve.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred (experience may substitute).
- Basic knowledge of maintenance, repairs, and building systems.
- Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and current auto insurance.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as needed.
- Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC, or grounds maintenance is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and agency vehicles.
- Assist with carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and general repair projects.
- Maintain agency grounds through mowing, trimming, debris removal, and seasonal upkeep.
- Perform snow removal and ice melt application during winter weather.
- Complete vehicle inspections and report repair needs.
- Help keep facilities clean, safe, and in excellent working condition.
- Track maintenance activities and equipment records as assigned.
