About The Position

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for various maintenance jobs for our residential and commercial sites. Clearbrook is a non-profit, social services agency that specializes in providing innovative tools, services and opportunities to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, such as Autism and Down Syndrome.

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of experience working in various areas of maintenance
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid IL driver's license
• Basic maintenance knowledge
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug test within 10 days of the job offer.
• Must pass an Illinois state criminal background check with no disqualifying conditions.
• Must pass TB test within 30 days of employment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be insurable by Clearbrook.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residential and commercial sites in good repair and free of all hazards.
• Maintain the grounds in a safe, sanitary and presentable condition
• Maintain all plumbing fixtures and piping in good repair and properly functioning.
• Maintain confidentiality with all clients and their families and maintain a professional image/role as a representative of the agency.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures established for Clearbrook, and those of all governing bodies.
• Complete mandatory training annually.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
