Maintenance Worker
About The Position
Columbia Cottage in Collegeville, PA is looking to hire a full-time Maintenance Worker to refresh rooms upon turnover and perform general building maintenance at our assisted living community. Columbia Cottage is a premier assisted living community that offers ten levels of care and a warm, home-like setting for our elderly residents. We are a thriving, unique community of residents, staff, and volunteers who are dedicated to supporting each other in living each day to its fullest. Our team is passionate about delivering the highest quality of care while taking the time to learn each resident's personal preferences and desires in order to help them get the most out of their daily life at the Cottages. As a result, those who live here always feel valued, cared for, and part of a trusting relationship. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Generalized knowledge about plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and flooring
- Driver's license

Responsibilities
- Refresh rooms upon turnover
- Perform general building maintenance
- Address plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and flooring issues
- Patch walls, apply paint, and replace carpet
- Take care of urgent repairs
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities
