The Maintenance Worker performs preventive and corrective maintenance in the plant under management supervision. This role involves assisting in the installation of new equipment, supporting special fabrication and construction projects, and adhering to preventative maintenance schedules. The position requires performing machine repair and installation, including tasks like replacing motors, rebuilding gearboxes, running piping, overhauling pumps, replacing seals, and performing welding and cutting operations. The Maintenance Worker is also responsible for daily greasing and oiling of plant equipment, diagnosing and replacing parts with minimal direction, and repairing control circuits and VFD installations. Maintaining a clean work area and adhering to all safety rules and regulations are crucial. The role may also involve training Level 1 Maintenance personnel if performing above Level 1 duties and attending safety meetings.
