About The Position

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this position will be primarily responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing company car wash equipment and related systems. The Maintenance Worker will help minimize equipment downtime by completing timely repairs and preventive maintenance. In addition to serving as the primary maintenance resource for car wash equipment, this position will assist with general maintenance and repairs at our convenience stores and other company facilities.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in equipment maintenance, mechanical repair, facilities maintenance, or a related field.
  • General knowledge of equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work independently, organize priorities, and respond to urgent repair needs.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to learn car wash systems and complete applicable training.

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial car wash maintenance or repair experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, fueling equipment, forklifts, or skid-steers is also beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair car wash equipment and related systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to help minimize equipment downtime.
  • Respond to car wash malfunctions and coordinate with vendors or outside service providers when specialized repairs are needed.
  • Maintain basic records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and parts used.
  • Troubleshoot and repair convenience store equipment, fueling equipment, building systems, and fixtures within the employee’s training and qualifications.
  • Perform general building repairs, including painting, drywall, doors, hardware, and minor plumbing.
  • Assist with facility and grounds maintenance, including snow removal, mowing, weed spraying, and sprinkler system maintenance.
  • Follow company safety procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.
