About The Position

The Maintenance Worker performs general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. The position operates across TRMF businesses such as hotels, motels, and campgrounds, and may also work in offices, employee housing, retail establishments, and entertainment venues. Outdoor work in various weather conditions is required. Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required as needed. The role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

Be reliable, ready, and on time for every shift.
Follow instructions and assigned tasks.
Have knowledge and experience sufficient to complete general repairs.
Be able to use hand and power tools.
Have excellent organizational and time management skills.
Have knowledge of carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repair.
Be able to work independently when needed.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–5 years of general maintenance experience required.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Fluency in English required.

Nice To Haves

Ability to weld is desirable.
CDL is desirable.
HVAC experience is desirable.
Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems and identify items needing repair.
Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs.
Plan and carry out repair work.
Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician, such as drywall repair, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
Perform preventative maintenance on building systems.
Clean and help maintain facilities.
Inform the maintenance team of tools and equipment needed for repairs.
Perform seasonal tasks, including irrigation and snow removal.
Perform other related duties as assigned, including sanitation.
Participate in workplace safety meetings.
Interact with guests, coworkers, and management and maintain positive relationships consistent with TRMF values.
