Visit us online at: https://www.nwths.com/careers Position: Maint Worker - Semi Position Summary: Under general supervision, the Maint Worker - Semi position serves as a skilled technician performing mostly technical functions for the Plant Engineering Department including inspecting, servicing, and repairing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment. This Tech I position supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups.

Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Valid Texas Drivers License
Basic general maintenance skills training and/or minimum two years related experience, including, at least one of the following, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC, steam plant, metal work, and welding.

Responsibilities

Responds to requests by pager, radio, telephone or other methods of communication.
Performs emergency repairs using proper trouble-shooting techniques.
Conducts periodic inspections/tests based on pre-determined priorities and conditions.
Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment as specified.
Maintains logs of inspections, tests, servicing, and repairs as required.
Completes work orders as required.
Participates in and supports a process to improve performance of services.
