About The Position
St. Louis County Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking a Maintenance Worker II for the Creve Coeur Park Soccer Complex. This complex features 13 synthetic turf fields and 1 natural grass super pitch, hosting numerous youth soccer events. The role involves maintaining the fields, grounds, and facilities to ensure a high-quality experience for participants and visitors.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in general maintenance or related work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Knowledge or prior experience in sports field or athletic complex maintenance.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
Responsibilities
- Performs required field maintenance and grooming on the Complex’s 13 synthetic turf soccer fields.
- Mows and trims grounds.
- Cleans and performs maintenance of restrooms and buildings.
- Performs trash removal and pick-up.
- Assists in ensuring fields and goals are properly set up and broken down for field rentals and tournaments, including lining fields with field marking paint.
- Assists in the operation of field rentals/tournaments as necessary.
- Performs related work as required.
