About The Position

Identify, plan and perform routine maintenance on machines, mechanical equipment, structures and buildings. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor. Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in equipment and building maintenance
  • Strict adherence to job site Safety Programs and ongoing Safety Training.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, basic maintenance.
  • Mechanically inclined and learn requirements of buildings and systems.
  • Knowledge of tractors, trailers, power tools, cutting torches, welders and power washing equipment.
  • Will move office furniture, kitchen equipment, and lift cement mix into the work area.

Responsibilities

  • You will assist experienced tradesmen with the maintenance of plumbing and electrical systems in multiple locations.
  • Manage and complete small-scale projects and repairs, to include developing plans, labor estimates, material lists and construction timelines.
  • Assist and direct Team Members with maintenance tasks, insuring safety and quality workmanship.
  • Layout, construct, patch and paint interior and exterior walls and trim, using both mechanical and manual tools.
  • You will generally repair and preventative maintenance of machines and equipment, while following all Safety protocols.
  • Repair of buildings, using multiple hand and power tools.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on different machines, equipment, and structures, to include documenting both repairs, parts used and labor times.
  • Must be an active member of the Emergency Response Team.
  • Become proficient with the Work Order Program, using a computerized CMMS program.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
