About The Position

Tryfacta is seeking a Maintenance Worker II for our client in Woodsbend YDC 41472. This is a temporary contract assignment. The position is with the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice and will be for a duration of 1 year. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Requirements

Maintenance and repair of plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
Assistance to carpenters and electricians.
Painting buildings and structures.
Repair of grounds maintenance equipment and tools.
Assistance to other skilled trades personnel.
Repair of equipment.
Upkeep of building and grounds.
Preventative maintenance.
Operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and tools.
Record keeping.

Responsibilities

Assist supervisors in coordinating the work of staff while maintaining and repairing plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
Provides assistance to carpenters and electricians.
Paints buildings and structures inside and out.
Repairs grounds maintenance equipment and tools.
Provides assistance to the other skilled trades personnel.
Assist in repairing equipment, assist with upkept of building and grounds, and assist in preventative maintenance.
Operates, maintains and repairs equipment and tools.
Maintains records.
Attends meetings and trainings as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
