About The Position
Responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repairs on building and plant operations systems, access control, and departmental equipment for all SIH entities assigned.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent
- Trade school certificate or building operations certification
- Health Care Physical Environment Worker Certification
- Proven experience in healthcare facilities engineering field is required.
- Proficient troubleshooting skills in all aspects of a healthcare facility’s operation and systems: mechanical, electrical, HVAC, environmental controls, fire alarm, building automation, medical gas distribution, and other applicable healthcare utility and healthcare life safety systems.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills in healthcare facility operation and systems.
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical manuals and reports.
- Use of work tools of various trades.
- Effective interpretation and utilization of design, record, as built, and reference drawings.
- Experience using maintenance management software.
