About The Position

This is a general labor position focused on maintaining the facility and assisting the maintenance team. Responsibilities include operating industrial equipment, managing scrap and waste disposal, performing groundskeeping duties, and filling in for other positions as needed. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.

Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, and other inclement weather.
• Ability to wear safety glasses, earplugs, gloves, safety-toe shoes, and a dust mask.
• Constant use of hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
• Ability to frequently exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects, materials.
• Considerable amount of use with arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Standing for 8 or more hours every day.
• Must be able to lift to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial trucks and overhead cranes to load and move industrial materials (steel and aluminum).
• Break down, scrap, and dispose of damaged ladders, wood, metal, pallets, and crates.
• Empty scrap receptacles and trash bins, transporting waste to designated dumpsters.
• Maintain outdoor grounds and property appearance.
• Fill in for other positions as needed during periods of high absenteeism.
• Assist the maintenance team with manual labor on various projects.
• Clean and maintain restrooms and locker rooms, including restocking soap dispensers and toilet paper.
