Maintenance Utility Labor PR05 (Maintenance - Parts Room) - 2nd shift - New Holland F/P
About The Position
This position is responsible for maintaining product flow and relieving team members on line for breaks and filling in during labor shortages while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The position of the Utility in maintenance is to support the daily activities of the maintenance department in the delivery and picking up of maintenance parts, in addition to assuring that surrounding areas are clean. The utility person drives to outside vendors to pick up or deliver maintenance parts. Assures outside grounds work is done, including mowing, weeding in the summer, and shoveling snow in winter. Paints areas of the plant and outside. Replaces tank wheels and repairs carts. Assists parts room in the inventory. Maintains the maintenance shop clean and free of clutter. All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to communicate clearly with outside vendors
- Willingness to get Power Industrial Truck certified
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- Willingness to lift 40 to 50 pounds
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire
- 180 days (6 months) waiting period
