About The Position
Working under close supervision, the employee assists with a variety of semi-skilled maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, electrical work, plumbing, masonry, and general repairs as needed. The role requires the safe use of tools and equipment, the ability to follow instructions, and effective teamwork to complete assignments efficiently, as well as the performance of related duties as required.
Requirements
- Completion of the tenth grade.
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in general maintenance and construction.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and appropriate safety precautions.
- Ability to understand and follow simple oral instructions.
- Ability to establish and effective working relationships with others.
- Safe use of tools and equipment.
- Effective teamwork to complete assignments efficiently.
Nice To Haves
- Some experience in general maintenance, construction, or a related field.
